FEAT-Houston Meeting

Time:
7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Location: Tracy Gee Center, 3599 Westcenter Drive, Phone: (713) 266-8193.

IDEA 2004, No Child Left Behind, and Texas’ Autism Supplement mandate the use of evidence-based practices in public schools.

Parents, teachers, administrators, and ABA providers are invited to participate in a moderated round table discussion about the use of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in public schools. Please come with your questions, ideas, concerns, “best practice” suggestions, and comments about ABA in public schools.

FEAT-Houston advocates the use of ABA in the education of individuals with autism. The feedback from this meeting might be used to inform decisions about how FEAT-Houston can support and promote the use of ABA in public schools.

Directions: Take the Richmond exit off Beltway 8. Turn onto Richmond east of the Beltway. The first street you can turn at will be Westcenter. Turn south onto Westcenter and drive only about a block and the Community Center will be on the left.

FEAT-Houston is a Houston, Texas based non-profit organization committed to supporting
families who are interested in assisting their children with autism.
