Many companies, particularly large ones, strongly encourage employees to contribute directly from their pay checks to charity organizations. United Way often serves as a gateway for these donations and will distribute to any 501(c)(3) approved non-profit organization designated by the employee. Families for Effective Autism Treatment-Houston is one of these organizations and can be specified using the Tax ID number 76-0475759. Please check with your Human Resources department to see if this is an option. If you are choose to contribute to company-sponsored plan, it is great to select a charity you know uses the resources to make a difference in your community for children, teens and adults with autism and those who support them. If you need help in arranging your company’s inclusion of FEAT-Houston as a charitable option, feel free to contact Sean smcjb@yahoo.com or Cindy at cindy.cooper@sbcglobal.net

By Shopping
Every quarter, FEAT-Houston receives a check through the community service programs of Randall’s and Kroger. By making FEAT-Houston your charity of choice at these stores, you are making a contribution to FEAT and helping to support our various programs. It’s easy to do:

At Randall’s, stop by the customer service center ONE TIME and designate FEAT-Houston, number 2510 as your choice in their “Good Neighbor” program.

At Kroger, simply print out the attached letter and present it to the cashier at check out. The cashier will scan it to enroll you in their Neighbor to Neighbor program for a full year. You must still use your KrogerPlus card every time you shop for FEAT-Houston to get credit but you no longer need to present an extra FEAT card. Please make FEAT-Houston the designated charity of your choice then pass the letter along to friends and relatives and encourage them to do the same.
