Spectrum of Hope announces the opening of Hope Extended,
an ABA based classroom program, on January 7, 2008.

Two classrooms will be available for enrollment - the Acquisition Room and the Transition Room.
• Designed for school age children with speech, language, developmental, learning and/or behavior disorders.
• Ideal for:
    • Short term placement for children who need to acquire or master classroom readiness skills in order to benefit from a public school setting
    • Long term placement for children whose parents prefer a private classroom option
• Grouped by skill level and are multi-age populations
• Acquisition Classrooms and Transition Classrooms
• Range from a 1:1 Teacher/Child ratio to 1:2 Teacher/Child ratio with aides present in each room
• Assessments of a child’s development and skills are performed by a clinical psychologist and behavior analyst prior to placement in a classroom
• Supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst & Certified Teacher
• Collaboration with clinical psychologist/educational psychologist
• Skills addressed: Attending/On task behaviors Independent Work Individual/Group Instruction Language Academics Sensory Integration Sequencing/Schedules Reduction of inappropriate behaviors
• Monthly teacher/BCBA/team/parent conferences
• Daily/Weekly review of child’s progress
• Daily progress Reports
• Full and part time options
